If you consider it, one of the hardest parts about making a website is the aesthetic. What looks aesthetically pleasing to an individual when they first look at your website. Will the harshness of red send them exiting out of their browser? Design is a significant factor when discussing any digital media. People like for their internet experience to be easy, inviting, and friendly. Especially when they are looking for information. Therefore, I attempted to make this site as accessible as any blogging site is. I plan to incorporate different sections of the website, such as photographs, new music or art, etc. Anything to make my site more interactive is promoted.

People also take bloggers for granted. In the age of the internet, many bloggers serve as the gatekeepers for all digital media. Especially in entertainment, bloggers can control the majority of what people look at. For example, in the music industry popular blogging sites control what artist they want to promote. Due to the traffic that is on their page they can make or break a career. The same phenomena are seen in fashion. Bloggers have an overwhelming amount of power that is under appreciated.

The amazing dilemma with digital media is that it is constantly being changed. The way media is promoted and interacted with now is different from 6 years ago. We are in a “microwave era” of media where everyone likes their entertainment quick and short-lived. Would the world be better off if this trend continued or should there be more substance in our media?
